Overview
Our engineered stormwater management system was designed and constructed to capture, convey, and infiltrate runoff effectively, providing flood prevention to eliminate front yard flooding.
The Problem
The property faced significant stormwater flooding during heavy rainfall, leading to water accumulation in the front and side yard, resulting in issues such as surface ponding, saturated ground, unwanted water movement toward the home, and limited usable space.
Our Solution
We developed a fully integrated drainage system that includes both surface and subsurface components. This design features a swale to direct flow, a catch basin for collection, a pipe system for conveyance, and infiltration systems that allow for effective storage and dispersal of water.
Execution
To implement our solution, a swale was constructed to guide surface runoff into a catch basin. Water is then conveyed through a pipe system into an infiltration bed made with clear stone and geotextile fabric, facilitating controlled subsurface dispersion. The area was restored with topsoil and sod to ensure a clean, finished surface.
The Result
The outcome included controlled stormwater flow, improved yard usability, long-term drainage performance, and the successful elimination of flooding.

We design and build engineered drainage solutions that effectively contribute to flood prevention, utilizing advanced infiltration systems for optimal stormwater management.
